(Kiltman) I think the shirt needs some kind of insignia. Otherwise, I salute you.(Kiltman)

I disagree. This is a military-inspired look. I don't think Jamie was going for a wannabe outfit. Wearing insignia that haven't been earned isn't done. The kilt looks great with kahki shirt and hose.

I'm sure he didn't intend for Jamie to wear something he didn't earn. And, I think Jamie's idea for the XMTS crest patch fits the ticket.

Aye, he's earned his cap badge, that's for sure.

    Looking very smart there.

You look just like an illustration of an Argyll & Sutherland Highlander in a book I have. All you're missing is the khaki jacket with the rounded corners—and 80 pounds of equipment strapped to your back!

    Jamie:

I think you look very well put together. My opinion of the sporran, to be quite honest, is that it's perfect for the outfit. It's not like you're trying to be a military reenactor or something; you merely want to have the outfit look like it's "inspired" by the military. Anyway, I think the sporran is quite stylish with the outfit!

Very smart, although some parade gloss and elbow grease on the shoes would not go amiss.I should have a word with your staff if I were you! Now I am off to my nearest fall out shelter.
