I have a 3.5 year old pair of Asolo TPS 520GTX hiking boots. I like them. I do suggest, however, not using the bottom lace eyelets if your feet aren't shaped normally. After lacing them up with the bottom eyelets in use, the toe box tends to get a little constricted and can cause the leather to dent directly over the big toenail, which, in my case, caused an ingrown toenail. Since then, I've relaced the boots, so they don't use the bottom eyelets and my feet are much happier as a result.
