Well, if everything works out the way it should, it will be a specially designed tartan (awaiting make-up into a kilt and registration with STA) designed for me by Matt Newsome. I get to name it though.

Kilts + button down shirts + facial hair = great combination for a classy look =P
I like the simple belt too. How wide is that belt? looks like it's closer to 3 inches than 2 and a quarter or whatever the usual off the shelf type kilt belt is. I'm a big fan of wide belts with the kilt, my favorite belt to wear with my kilt is 3" wide, a ranger-belt

Thanks.
The belt is a 2.5" I believe. I made it myself using bridle leather and a buckle I got from CavScout. He makes almost identical belts...well, similar, anyway, but undoubtedly better as that is his specialty. It is a simple, not-too-rococo, look that is both elegant and masculine.
I have a black bridle leather blank set aside for a dress belt...again in 2.5" but I cannot decide between a simple nickel buckle similar to the brass one I'm wearing or something in pewter but more ornate--like a Celtic knot. Seems like the price for the buckle is the same either way.
