Thanks for the pics guys. I have many tats, but none Celtic...yet. Sort of on a break until I can donate a couple more pints of blood and run that total to ten gallons. Meantime, I'm shopping.
About all I have left is my legs and they seem difficult to find a tat that has spiritual meaning for me (core requirement) that I also want and looks good there.
Have come close to the Clan Donal boat tat similar to Arlen, but not sure for sure yet. Not being Christian don't want the clan crest with the mailed fist clutching the cross.
So many decisions...but looking at other tats helps with ideas.

I avoided tats in Saigon, Bangkok, Alangapo City, San Diego, Chicago, Honolulu and lots of other cities so just because I now venture into public in a kilt doesn't mean I need ink on my body too. More power to you mate but I'm good to go as is.
