I'm... avoiding that thread, but only because I would get myself in trouble there.
I don't have pictures or a jacket to look at, so it was all guess work. I don't really know yet if the curve is right because I haven't been able to get pictures to post here.
I Guess if it looks all right and is functional, then that's good enough.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Well then you will miss a both great and stupid joke.
Seriously, though, your work looks very nice and passable to me, though, I admit, I am not an authority. Hopefully, others who ken better will chime in for you.

I usually take enough material off of the bottom of the jacket so that I can have the enough material for all the other mods. I use the cutoff for epauletts, and vent flaps in the back. If there is enough material, and there usually is, then I make the cuffs; argyll or crail.

I hadn't thought of putting cuffs on a tweed.

That is exactly what I did for my vent flaps, and I was also able to line them. I didn't make epauletts because it is more on the line of a business suit; the same for the cuffs.
I still have quite a bit of scrap fabric from that jacket, and it's probably enough to do that or make repairs. Don't throw away your scraps.
