Thanks. When I orded the kilt I was just hoping not to look silly in it. But I'm pretty happy with the look actually. Conventional clothing has never been a passion of mine but I could get used to this.

I like the flashes very much also. Pleated to sett looks nice, my own is pleated to stripe. I have one coming from USAK for my son that will pleated to sett- that way we can stad in awe of each other. LOL. But, Yup, very easy to get used to.

Outstanding. My tank is a Houston weathered hunting MacRae and I have had it for three years now, and very pleased with it.

All right! You're looking good, Tommy.
A few things to get???? You don't require any special shoes or shirts. Strap on that beautiful kilt and take Miss Pamela out, y'hear?
(By the way, it's (ahem) not recommended you run around stocking-foot in those gorgeous hand-knit hose. You'll want to take reeely good care of those.)
Yup, I predict that you'll be habituated pretty quickly with a quality garment like that. Congratulations.

Amen to all that above. Just remember, the belt loops are to keep the sporran anchored, not the belt. It can pull the kilt out of whack if worn through the belt keepers on the back.

I'm 60 so I have no doubt this one will last a lifetime.

I do too. There's one more Hunter tartan I want then I'll move onto the McInnes Tartans.

Heh heh.. yeah I know. I just took off the thin socks I had over the feet of these hose for the photoshoot. Not a good idea to be careless with $200.00+ hand-knitted kilt hose.
We'll be at Stone Mountain next weekend and I'll be wearing my old somewhat ratty brown shoes. Ya just make do.
Carolina: Will do!
