Celtic Fest Jckson, TN

Wow...what a great day! It was awsome to meet everyone. I was blessed to have met some new faces. Dirk I've met before. But there was LewisG, JS Sanders, Warlock, Kilted Surveyor, and Beowulf67, all who I got to meet for the first time. I hope I haven't left anyone out. Dirk, Lewis and myself were manning tent for our clans. It was a busy day for the clan tents. So many people had questions looking for their family name. There weren't a lot of clans with tents only 6 or so. There were a couple of societies present though.

It was a small event, but had around a couple thousand people to attend. There were the clans, vendors, and the entertainment. I did a quick walk through the vendors, but didn't see anything new. I was not able to see the entertainment, but I could hear them. There was a small pipe band there from Arkansas. They piped the clans in for the parade. Most of the day was spent at the clan tent.

Missing is Warlock and LewisG. I know Warlock got a group shot of some folks. And Beowulf was taking candid shots throughout the day. I didn't get a photo of our newest member LewisG, maybe Beowulf did. We need to get his mug on here for everyone to see. Thanks everyone for a great day.

Thanks to everyone at the Fest. It was great to meet folks and put real time faces and personalities to on-line friends. I would like to thank all those shown in the photo, as well as Warlock for the open welcome and much hospitality. I look forward to seeing you all again, as well as any new faces.

Nice pics LewisG! I like the one of me and Steve talking. I notice the bottle is still pretty full so you must have caught us early in the conversation!
