    Question Kilt Konfusion?

    Greetings All,

    I too am a 'fresh meat" here on the forum (Sorry the "fresh meat" is from my former navy time).

    The question I would like to pose is the following:

    On dressing in more formal attire, the belt and buckle are not worn with the sporran, jacket, tie, hose, flashes, footwear, shirt and kilt?

    I have seen many photos of gentlemen wearing the belt with Argyle and Prince Charlie jacket formal wear. Is this correct? Incorrect?

    Is it just up to the individual?

    Any assistance would be appreciated.
