    More great pictures of the Saltire's last couple of days before flying back to California Hamish!

    I should point out that my visit was back in the 1980s when you could also buy Dayville's ice cream in Iceland freezer centres also.

    Wow. thanks for sharing these! You have nothing to apologize for the Saltire's visit. Living in the USA, it is always astonishing thinking of buildings a millennium old, and still in use! My previous church was built in the 1880s, and therefore had a reputation of being "the o-o-old church." But that's nothing compared to St. Mary's! Marsha and I are so pumped about forthcoming visit to the UK.
