    Are the patches washable? Usually, embroidered patches have to be dry-cleaned or they shrink, ravel, and get all grody-looking.

    I have washed mine several times and not seen a problem.

    It would be really great to just mail a polo to him and have him embroider the patch directly onto the shirt.
