When not piping or dressing semi-formally, I MUCH prefer these garter ties to the flashes! I have several pair in different colors.

I have a few pairs and much prefer to the typical flashes. I find the garter ties to be much more comfortable, especially when worn for a long period of time.
I just ordered a pair of Lewis hose and traditional garter ties from STM. I can't wait to try them out!
