Dang that last post makes me feel like a kilt junkie... I just bought my third SWK and got it today delivered to my job site.
I still have a Freedom Kilt Box Pleat on order.. And a custom belt and sporran being made... Dang... Now I do feel like a kilt junkie.....

Wade.
Wade, If you don't have a solution yet, get a thin woman's belt in the proper color, run it through the back of the sporran, and voilà, a sporran belt.

I have an SWK Shadow Tartan in green and love it (of all my kilts it's my wife's fave). The SWK woolies are a GREAT deal! Congrats and enjoy it when it arrives tomorrow via Jerry's time traveling delivery system!

Wade, what do you think of it? I'd be interested to know.
I second the 1/2 - 3/4 inch belt suggestion for a sporran strap. I have two that are former trouser belts and both work fine... I wear one with my nylon nightstalker sporran all the time as that didn't come with a strap either. If you've bought one of those watch the belt loop on the back. Not the greatest stitching.

Actually, I'm a bit surprised by it, but I haven't had it on for more than a few minutes yet. I have to admit that there was one thing I read on the website that tipped me into ordering it: "12-inch lining". And I'm glad for that! The wool against my knees I will have to get used to. (It may help explain why the "normal" length is to the top of the knees...) It does feel much more comfortable around the waist than my UnionKilt, or even my NeoKilt; something about it being wool, I suppose. And it will definitely be warmer than either of them!
That raises another question actually, about how fine the different wools are. I imagine a finer weave would be correspondingly more expensive, but you would tell the improvement by feeling it.

I was going to go looking for an old belt. Or failing that, there is a thrift shop I visit often that has belts. Actually I was a bit disappointed with the look and feel of the nightstalker sporran. I thought it would be bigger. But I need to use it to be sure, and at least a leather sporran doesn't need to be expensive.
