Not a great photo, but here's mine (from the damaged run) pleated to the "no stripe."

    I'm gonna do them all!

I'll be pleating four X Marks kilts in the next year. One to the yellow, one to the white, one to the sett and one to either the "no stripe" or the double gray. I've already done one to the "no stripe" and one to the (almost) sett.

It ought to be fun to watch the double takes as the whole family walks by-looking the same from the front and totally different from behind.

    Be well,

Could you get them all done and post pictures in the next month or so? (Just kidding)

I've been leaning towards the yellow stripe, but I really like the look of the no stripe option. I think the yellow stripe may just look a bit busy, but the no stripe is a nice subdued look.

Hmmmmm, maybe I should have bought enough material for both...

My XMTS tartan kilt is in military box pleats to the yellow stripe. Actually compared to the front it is quite subtle

Nice picture, it illustrates this option very well! Great minds think alike.

Now, wasn't there some discussion, at some point about your choice of pleating direction for this kilt?

Yeah...it comes up whenever I post this picture. I call it the "American Automobile" pleating option.
Another example of an interesting idea that doesn't quite live up to its potential, I suppose.

I do not own the Xmarks tartan, but being that I am getting kind of old I am pretty "sett" in my ways, so to speak, so I voted pleated to sett. Just have not found the tartan yet that I like pleated to a stripe or no stripe better than to sett. Just me and my strange eye for fashion.

I was in on the last PV run and am having a "Tweskbury" pleated to the yellow stripe. I just can't wait to get it. Once it's on, photos will follow!

By the way Rabble, nice kilts all 'round!!
