Somebody is Daddy's little girl...what wonderful photos. You two obviously have a great relationship.
I do have a question, based upon your forum handle and your cherished fatherhood--is puddlemuddle a reference, or twist, on the children's storybook "Piggy in a Puddle"? Your handle is evocative of same, and the book was one of the favorites that I shared with my own daughter, now 13...how the time flies! Just wondering. Regards...

BTW, more impertinent questions-- (1) how many times have you watched "Zulu", (2) what is your connection to the Liverpool Scottish? You're a good sport to put up with all of this...Regards...

@ Bob,
Puddlemuddle is actually a nickname given to me by my wife (then girlfriend) in High school. I have a habit of tripping over words when I talk to fast, so instead of telling her to watch out for the puddle of mud, I called it a puddlemuddle/ I had actually forgotten about it until she and I reconnected 11 years later.
As far as Zulu goes...gosh so many I can't remember! I had two great uncles who fought in the 10th Battalion King's Liverpool Regiment (Scottish) during WWI. I have a lot of original badges and things )some repro) in a shadow box on my wall (I'll see if I can post a pic) I Was able to obtain their service and war records via Ancestry.com (UK). Let me know if you have any other questions.
Not a problem at all!
Cheers,
Chad

Thanks for the kind reply. Geneaology is what got me to connect with my Scottish heritage...Ancestry.com has been a productive source, as has scotlandspeople.com, where I have been able to search the Old Parish Registers...it's almost as addictive as kilt wearing...sounds like you have enjoyed exploring your ancestry...it will be good to be able to pass that on to the princess...Regards...
