    heres a example of some kids tossing the caber.... notice the card tubes and how far that wee kid throws it ,i reckon that kid looks about 4-5 so perhaps for 6-10 year olds youd be best using a wooden caber

    At the Spokane Highland Games we use pvc pipe for the cabers. They are light and won't hurt anyone much. We've been using them for the past 6 or 7 years and had no problems.
