Soz for not putting up pics. After I put up the Ham thread, our computer played up. As you can see it is now fixed. Will post some pics asap.

The Australian tartan is lovely, I must have missed that thread but will make amends. And the perfect kilt pin to boot!

All in all looks as if a grand time was had, thanks for taking us along if only in spirits, err, spirit
Thanks Sydnie. There's a shortcut to that Aussie Kilt thread here

Now then Jock, my old friend, I am not sure that I like your tone! Yes, I carried a clipboard once the actual Festival was under way because, in my capacity as co-presenter/compere, I needed to carry a running-order and to make notes on the artistes I was introducing as the day wore on. I assure you that I do not carry clipboards for effect. The very idea. Harrumph!

    Take care,
    Ham.
[PS: You are correct though - carrying a clipboard IS thirsty work, but then, so is presenting!!]
[PPS: The few photos I took - far too busy to act as photographer as well - are still in my camera. I will endeavour to extract them very soon.]

WONDERFUL photos!!! Great people. Your wife has the best kilt but I'm only going on colours not meaning!!! You fellows look so cool in your kilts. As for the end of the day condition...int:Hm...just looks like boys at play with or without the drinks! That's the British thing, you know, how I think they are a riot even when their serious so about laugh myself to pieces when they mean to be silly! Am I in trouble again???

Wasn't it all considered thirsty "work"? Wish there was an audio/video...

    Robert.

I would think a PM to Derek would be the best way to get the gig. I doubt a demo is necessary. Your reputation precedes you.

As an aside, If you are intending to be there. I will move heaven and earth to be there too.

I'm looking forward to it already!!
