I came up with a pocket solution that works for me.

I use velcro as the closure system on my kilts and run it across the entire inside-top of front apron.

I then made a pocket set out of leather that attaches to the velcro. It sits between the aprons.

This would be pretty useless to most of you - no velcro to attach it to - but the x-kilt makers might want to think about something similar in their next project... Or a piece of loop velcro could be added to the inside-top-outer-apron of an existing kilt is the owner didn't mind the cross of old-world and new.

Will post pics of my solution soon.

Scooby has a camo bag, I believe from the Gap, that he carries to the games and such things. It's basically his go to carry all for non school days, he is nearly ten after all, must carry all those things about with him.

this is the best shot I have of the thing, not a great shot of a kilt I know.

First, to the topic of the thread, I use a medical pouch from the new MOLLIE system of web-gear for my sporran when wearing my non-traditional (USAF camouflage) kilt. As to your last question, I believe the flask came first...one would need something to hold the alcohol in first, before needing something to hold the container holding the alcohol.

Not exactly for EDC (Every Day Carry) but this is what I use when traveling, sightseeing etc. Everything from SoTech is bombproof .

If I'm not wearing one of my Mockers and I need some extra space, I'll usually snap on a fanny-pack that I can slide to the front or side as I desire.
