I don't have a dressy cane, but the ladyfriend will be dressy and she's probably got a mean right hook so she'll suffice for now!

    Thumbs up The End Results...

So the wedding was a success. It was a beautiful wedding, despite the travel drama and the snow/flurries saturday morning. Despite my gf and I being probably the most formal there (it ranged from jeans to kilt to wedding dress).

    So I wore this:

Looking at it now, I should've gone for different flashes but my choice was limited... navy blue would've probably been ok. I like the yellow tie with the vest/jacket but perhaps not best with the kilt. Overall, I think it worked. It all certainly kept me warm during the day - the ceremony took place amungst the flurries and I was the only one who didn't wear a jacket all day.

And a pic of the gf and I...

    Cheers,
    Noah

You look great. And the flashes and tie pick up the yellow in the tartan beautifully. I wouldn't change a thing.

I know I'm past the due date on this thread, but just a quick comment about your Freelander sporran: My Freelander is the only day sporran I own, so I always wear it with my tweed day jacket -- INMHO, it looks fine with tweed, and it always gets a lot of compliments.

But, as we all know, Freelander Sporrans are "simply the best"!

Who cares about the tie and flashes when you have the loveliest accessory any man could want hooked on your left arm. Everyone was looking at her, I am sure, and nobody probably even noticed the kilt and outfit. But you both look smashing.

Always better to be slightly overdressed than underdressed, unless it is for a mud wrestling match.

Noah, you looked fantastic and K was stunning. (You're a lucky man.)

I'm glad you had a good time at the wedding and you could show just how warm and toasty a Kilt outfit is.
