Man, that looks spectacular! I want one of those! The flashes and hose look perfect with it, too.

Give Matt a call We're planning on getting 2 more kilts made for family members soon plus a few more yards of the material for assorted tartan gifts.

Stunning is right. I'd be tempted to get a box-pleat done to the green stripe, too.

You've got that right, good sir!
Congratulations, and wear it in good health!

Looks great!
BTW, I take it from the street photo that you live on the East Side? Looks like the old neighborhood. I did my residency at Bon Secours back in the '80s.

The kilt looks nice, and you accessorize it well!
For those wondering, I, personally, specialize in the four yard box pleated kilt, though I do occasionally take requests for other less-common styles, such as Kingussie pleats, or 5 or 6 yard knife pleated kilts.
However, through the Scottish Tartans Museum we can offer a variety of CMT services for things like jackets, vests, skirts and -- of course -- kilts. These are not made in house but we send the cloth to a variety of places we do business with to help you acquire your garment.
In this case, Pete's kilt was made by the fine kiltmakers of Lochcarron (it's not Lochcarron cloth), who do an absolutely outstanding job.
That kilt is an heirloom peice to be sure!
