Robert, I am beyond envious - I hate to say it but I'm bordering on coveting that.

The workmanship is wonderful, the colors fabulous and I must know if I can get a kiltpin like that.

Congratulations! That should protect you well from the Alpine shows.

Thank you for your sweet words folks.

Just a word about the swing : The Kingussie has a movement of it's own : it doesn't exactly move like a Knife or a Double box.

The pleats are deep and there's 8 yards of fabric, but it has "back and forth" movement, more than a sideways one. Very masculine.

    Best,

    Robert,

I am always excited to see a new thread started by you, knowing that it will contain wonderful photos and a thorough description of whatever subject you're tackling, all conveyed in your kind and unassuming style. Thanks again for helping to make XMarks such a neat place.

The kilt is beautiful and what a treat to see it "in the works." Please add my congratulations and well-wishes to the pile.

    Cordially,

    David

    Looks amazing!
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.
