Thanks for all the good wishes!

Responding to a couple questions -

Men's attire (including the Gunn tartan kilts) was rented from www.kiltrental.com. They're well-organized & deliver good product & excellent customer service. Unfortunately, they don't rent for boys.

The older gentleman is indeed my dear old dad.

The ceremony was at Prince of Peace Church in Madison, Indiana. Madison is a beautiful old river town, in southern Indiana. Really a great place for a wedding!

Thank you for the information. I'm getting married in May and I've been on the look out for a place to rent some Gunn kilts for the gents in my wedding party.

Best wishes to a wonderful life together.

    Slainte!

Congratulations to you and your lovely bride. Everyone looks terrific, but I agree with the earlier comment that the young lads steal the show.

One other note re kilt hose for the lads . . .

We had a terrible time finding kilt hose for the lads.

A number of places stock children's hose in off-white. There are a variety of opinions re white socks for formal occasions (the uncharitable have suggested that their grudging acceptance is solely a consequence of expediency in the kilt-for-hire market). But none of us were looking to wear white hose for an afternoon wedding.

After the mother-of-all google searches, we finally found a range of kid-sized kilt hose in various colors from Aitken & Niven, an Edinburgh-based business which supplies Scottish school uniforms. I had some apprehensions about ordering for delivery in the US, but A&N came through with flying colors. Even though we ordered the smallest size, the hose had to be doubled over a couple times for our littlest lad, but they looked great & were a nice match for the lovat green hose of the groom and his dad.

Just thought I'd pass along, just in case anyone else has trouble finding them!
