yes and thank you for the idea, I have contacted the regm't museum and givin them a link to this thread, I would also like to add that I have told them I am only taking offers till wednesday night, as I am moving permanently to the UK from Canada the end of this month, which is another reason I have decided to go through things. ( I cant take all I own on a plane with me lol )

Debbie. Glad to see you found your way here, and I see you ARE getting good advice on your sporran's history and value.

I can just bet that the kilted wolfwoman is a most reasonable and caring person, not to say good looking and wise.
Did all I could. Keep us posted.

Sigh, I've heard nothing so I'm going to assume my ship has sailed. I hope it goes to a good home and gets the respect and treatment it deserves.

It almost sounds to me as if she is taking bids, via this thread.
Any rate she said she's taking offers until tomorrow evening, so if anyone is interested I would make her an offer.

She has actually posted it in the For Sale section but is only taking bids until tomorrow so if you are interested make her an offer. She seem pretty reasonable.

Since you are obviously in the UK and a number of enquiries are from the US I think, in all fairness that you should specify the currency for the current bid.

I believe the seller is moving to the UK from Canada hence the need to sell off this lovely heirloom quality sporran. Nonetheless a location might help.

Thank you I agree, this quote came from Canada and I believe his quote was in Canadian funds.
