Great to see some photos of the actual events, thanks for posting for us. So did you wear your kilt for the final race, or has it not taken place yet? I've lost track of what has and hasn't been.

I had the honour of working at the Montreal Summer Olympics in 1976; I was a paid "supervisor of security". And that was a cold summer there I can tell you, having to stay outside at a rural site for up to 18 hour stretches, I actually found myself leaving for work wearing a down parka most times. Perhaps we are enjoying the same temperatures! Will be looking for that kilt on closing day
Silver for the USA in Nordic Combined! It's a ruddy miracle, it is. Incredible.
We don't get much XC coverage down here in California, but if I were at Whistler, you couldn't peel me off of the tracks you're working. The figure skating is nice and the halfpipe is awesome, and I always love Super G and Giant Slalom, but the thing I REALLY relate to is the XC events.
I did a few local races around Tahoe ten years ago, and did the Tahoe-Truckee race. I'm a lumbering ox, not very fast at all, but I really loved the sport. Nowadays I'm about 280 pounds and don't have the extended aerobic fitness to even think about a 10K, but I remember.
