Any guesses ?
I've backed Brazil, having Brazilian children, for decades. They didn't excite much this last game, but historically they do tend to take it easy at first in the Cup and not show their potential early, so it's hard to say.
I haven't seen Italy or Spain yet, but I might venture Argentina and Germany this time around? That might be a great game.

Well the Germans had a tough match this time around. The ref paved the pitch with yellow cards (on both sides).

Spanish referee Alberto Undiano Mallenco previously had given out 11 red cards in 17 La Liga matches this season.
Apparently the Germany - Serbia game ref is notorious for handing out the cards. I really think the bookings have gotten out of hand this time around. The Germany game was just one of the worst I've ever seen. Half of those cards were undeserved. It's really sad to see Miroslav and Germany take such a hit from an overzealous ref.

The horrible officiating continues. The US got robbed, straight robbed of their game winning goal. Bradley wasn't even close to offsides. Conspiracy! Conspiracy I say! Some one at FIFA got tired of all the ties, so they stated forcing the underdogs into winning positions with "creative" officiating. First Germany, now the US. When will this tragedy at the Mondial cease?

Couldn’t agree more – and that comes from a South African, who has been hearing them blaring for a week and a half now.
I actually heard a diesel horn in the middle of it all the other day, and found it more tuneful!

Contains: results of Portugal vs. PRK
Holy Cow! Did anyone watch the drubbing that PRK received at the hands of Portugal? Insane! To quote the announcer: "It's raining goals in Cape Town!" Wouldn't wanna be one of Kim Jong Il's boys going back home to whatever fate awaits them... Yikes!
