Depends. Does a PV casual count? If not then I commit, should I win, to making sure this wool kilt goes to someone without one and I've already got my lucky recipient picked out. I saw him this morning again in the mirror.

And now we're all dying to know who won. (I guess if I haven't been contacted it must not be me...
Was it a rabble member or did the prize go to someone else?

Sorry for not putting this up yesterday, but I didn't want to make the announcement here until the winner was contacted first.
AND THE WINNER IS.........
Dominic (NCMC) who will have his traditional four yard box pleated kilt made in the MacLeod of Harris ancient tartan, Lochcarron 16 oz cloth.
Congrats, Dom! I know you've wanted one of my kilts for a while and I'm happy to be making it for you.
For those of you wondering whether the raffle was a success for the museum, let me assure you that it was, very much so. We still need to do a total ticket count to see exactly how much money was raised in the end, but I can tell you now that it was definitely a success -- we just need to see how much of a success.
Thanks again to all who entered!
Aye,
Matt

Congratulations to Dominic! From what I hear about the Newsome box pleat kilt he can't help but be pleased with his prize. I hope he's a member of The Rabble - if he's not, Matt, suggest he join - and he posts pics once his new garment arrives.
Regards,
Brian

And the count is in....
We sold exactly 590 tickets in this raffle. At $5 per ticket, one can easily work the math and see that the museum raised $2950 in funds. The cost of the cloth is coming out of this, but I'm waiving my kiltmaking fee, so most all of that is going right to help the museum.
Thanks so much to everyone who helped make this a success!
Be on the lookout for word about our next kilt raffle!
Aye,
Matt
