I like the idea. I am gonna have to try it, too. Previously, I've only used RIT to change the color of FR4, especially when the etchant decides to leave an ugly light brown color. Mike, you probably know what I'm talking about.

I sure do. I make a lot of PC boards. Never used RIT to change the color however.

I found that tip over on Hackaday a few months ago. RIT likes heat, and dark co?ors cover etchant stains pretty good. Also helpful for quickly identifying similar projects.
