I just got a pair of Barbour blue wellies at a very good price off ebay. They are surprisingly warm. By GOLLY!!!

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

Spartan Tartan: Glad you are enjoying it. Season 3 is one of my favorites, if for no other reason than it is one of the longer seasons - lots of good episodes.

There is a scene in which Katrina explains to Lexie how Golly got his nickname, but I thought it was earlier in the series. But, my memory is being erased, so I must be wrong. It's probably those not-so-wee drams I drain while watching. ;-) Slainte!

Greg: Thanks, but she'll always be just Iona to me. ;-)

AA: I read somewhere that Ms. Gilbreath is an accomplished Shakespearean actor. It was fun watching her do comedy. I kept waiting for a soliloquy - "Sleep that knits up the ravelled sleave of tweed".

I received season 1 last week (DVD) and the wife & I watched two episodes. I'm thrilled to see a show with a character in a kilt that's accepted, instead of being made fun of, or thought of as odd. I'd like to see more of that in mainstream T.V. There are some really funny scenes, and it's taking great discipline not to watch the entire season at once.

You have to have discipline. No you don't.

Danaidh: It's a hard show to ration out. Good luck. My wife and I gave up. We decided you can't have too much of a good thing. We're on our 3rd go round. :-)

You're going to see some great kilts and other Scottish attire at their games, ceremonies, and parties - formal and informal. Enjoy!

I tend to watch it whenever I can and then for as many episodes as I can fit in. I'm at Season 3, episode 8. And I'm still waiting for the young lady character (previously posted picture) to be introduced into the story!

Spartan Tartan: She first appears in the next-to-last season, I think, so be patient. Don't rush it. Enjoy.

Does anyone know what tartan is used for Duncan's kilt? I am not too good at recognizing tartans, but his seems familiar....

It's being repeated again on ITV3 and yet again I missed Hector's death scene!

Oh and Duncan's kilt is Hunting Stewart by the looks of it.
