Thanks, to Steve, the Mods and XMarks overall. When I first started looking into strapping on a kilt, X Marks is where I came. And look what happened!

...A Celtic traditional band. ...The X-kilt manual.... About 40 kilts made, of one sort or another. ....Finally, five years of Highland Games. Oh, and did I happen to mention a dozen face-to-face friendships with the Nor Cal Rabble, as well a X Markers from Southern California, and Washington? That's not to mention a nearly world-wide network of virtual brothers and sisters, all united by this "kilt thing". Pretty cool, all around.

All because, in part, of X Marks the Scot.

Though I haven't been here very long, I have found that many of the old threads I've dug through have included numerous, informative posts by Alan and feel that the honor is well deserved.
