There I was, at the PARenFair. There is a working forge, making sharp pointy things. There on the counter, I found a stack of wooden stakes, sharp on one end and with a cross burned into the other. I asked the wench behind the counter "Do you really have that big a problem with vampires around here?" She replied "Not the old kind. But these new sparkly ones are just so annoying!"

Pants is only a present tense verb here. I once panted, but it's all cool now.

...so here's this hostile type of mope who unmercifully hassled kilties and dress-up types, at the sci fi con which he attended with his "geek-chick" squeeze, earlier in the day. He's exiting the deli, just as its lights go out at 11 PM. He's wearing ragged bluejeans and a death metal tee, in the big city.
And eveyone, everywhere on the busy street, is kilted.
They look at him like he has antlers and came from Mars....
Two kilted gestapo types approach him, not looking uber-friendly. "Yes, he's the one," someone says, pointing....

I think a twilight zone tartan would have more 'swirls' in it.
I tried to fix my typo in the string title - seems it's the only thing that us mere mortals can't edit. Of course the confusion generated by it has made for some good stuff?
That was what I was thinking, like the Saltire Tartan. ![Laughing](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

Hey anybody remember the Twilight Zone episode with the bagpiper in it? (Just to make this thread kilt-related...)

That's a trivia thing... I wonder how many times kilts appeared in that show.

If I remember correctly , all of them ( including the piper ) were trapped in what they thought was a room with no doors but there was a way out if they could climb out over the tall walls , so they tried standing on each other's shoulder's to reach the top ,etc , only to discover they were toys in a cannister .
Kudos for thinking of that one !!!!!

I remembered the episode, but not the punch line.
