    I voted 5 because it was the simplest design. I've never been a big fan of a busy pattern. The less variety in colour appeals to me; it seems bolder and stronger. With a complex pattern involving multiple colours, I would be worried that people's eyes would be drawn directly to the tartan/kilt, rather than to the outfit as a whole. Just my two cents.
