Ken, all I can say is BRAVO. Your beautiful kilts will last longer than any bottles of wine, be more enduring than any stage performance, or movie, and (in my opinion) are a completely worth wile, and enduring purchase.

Well, the two kilts arrived today (including the gorgeous reproduction in the photo.) I could not be more pleased! Now to remove the basting threads, and decide which one I'll wear on Saturday!

LOL....that sounds great Ken. FYI, yesterday I ordered a nice 13 oz. 5 yard (wool) traditional cut kilt in MacGregor modern from Tartan web. After I received my first wool kilt, I'm hooked too. Besides getting another great garment in "the woks" now I have somethign to look forward to for the next 6-8 weeks.

At $275.00 delivered I got a great deal, and gezzzz. With the 6-8 weeks it's going to take to get here, that's only like $45.00 to $35.00 week, which is a LOT less than I spend on useless junk, and I MUCH rather have a new kilt rather than just $45.00 a week worth of more "stuff".

So, (again) congratulations, and (as you can see) I share your priority's. LOL....LOL..

Me mum made me use my income tax money to pay students loans.
I wanted ever so badly to spend it on some kilted items.
She also works in detox and addictions services, but I'm not sure you want to be cured of this addiction :P

I'll tell you how bad the addiction is... I have (or have on order) matching tartan cufflinks for every one of my 8yd wool kilts! I'm pathetic. LOL

Ken, you're obviously a man of order, and are simply "meant to match"...LOL...I applaud your attention to detail, and.. "completeness".

I couldn't seem to get a decent photo tonight, so these'll have to do for now. Jane and I attended the Celtic Woman concert at the Palace Theater in Cleveland, Ohio tonight, and it seemed the perfect opportunity to wear one of the new kilts. I wore the Buchanan Reproduction, and it felt great. The folks at D.C. Dalgliesh are to be commended!

I'll try to get some better photos the next time I wear it, as well as the hunting.
