Thanks I think I may go tinker aroound with it. I was giving thought on the road. I still like a dark tartan of mostly charcoal and black. Purple flanked by white pin stripes. No gold since the ribbon since absent any yellow.

The ribbon doesn't have any gold, but the actual Purple Heart Medal is framed in it. Perhaps a gold stripe would add a little more color.
