    Nighthawk, it was I, indeed! This excellent belt was produced very reasonably for me by Renaissance Leather, and thank you all for admiring it. I am incredibly pleased with it. It showed up a bit late, but non the worse for wear! Clearly! I wear it practically every day now - though I may need to acquire another for my square dress buckle (in black leather).

    thanks for all your comments guys. I love to crack out the history wherever I can, but I'm sadly not as knowlegdable as I ought to be. I did know the date 1320, and the declaration, but more than that I could not speak to with accuracy. I do my best to pass on the news though.

    Tomorrow is Tartan day, and I'll be celebrating with my first chanter lesson. Wish me luck!
