I pretty much wear what I like (shorts. tees etc.) and as it is to raise awareness for a charity he is all for it. What visiting clients will think I will have to wait and see but will keep everyone updated through my blog and FB page
I've been following your activities there Stoo!! Fun to watch the daily changes!!

For some reason, I can't pull my picture from our website, so I'll just link to the About Us page of out company website. Guess which one is me... You got it! The only one in a kilt!

My primary workplace is pretty relaxed on the dress code (which is, I suppose, one benefit of academia). I tend to favor my 5.11 TDKs over my more traditional kilt for day-to-day work wear, for much the same reason that I prefer 5.11 Tactical Pants when I wear trousers -- convenience and a casual look -- but I do manage a rather more traditional style for more important occasions.

5.11 TDK, black nylon rigger belt, Stillwater Kilts Nightstalker sporran attached with S-biners, 5.11 ATAC boots with heavy, gray boot socks, gray polo shirt. Comfy and stylish.

We have a very strict "branded" dress code - when guests are in the office. Otherwise, it's "Professional Jeans", whatever that means. I dress up a bit more with my kilt.

When I worked in the legal profession I often wore a black kilt to the office or to court.
Since I took retirement I do some part time driving work. If I am driving tourists I would wear a kilt.

I have therefore many times worn my Highland Granite x-kilt. Many visitors are appreciative. I think being in the same room as the life size copy of a historic photograph including a kilt (we think special occasion, possibly from the photographer's clothes chest) gives me a lot of support. I will have to work on a getting a pic this summer.
Well, maybe a bit late by modern standard curing my deficiency. I had a co-worker take a pic yesterday. (Happy May Day to all, by the way)
