How often do you wear your kilt?

For awhile I was wearing them everyday. I'm back to driving trucks now and climbing up and around a flatbed trailer wouldn't be too good kilted. So now only on the weekends when I'm home.

When I'm not working I try to wear a kilt. I work at a public school. This past week I only had one kilted day.
Over the summer I'll be kilted whenever possible. Last summer I believe I had a three week stretch without tr0u$er$.

It looks like I am with the majority at a couple of times a week. However, I am seen in it by anyone other than my wife much less often. I live on kind of an isolated rural property. I wear a kilt casually when I want to feel good and relax at home so most Friday-Sunday evenings. I really only wear one in public for special dress up occasions and family gatherings, this might come up more like once per month.

At least once a week at the moment, I have something coming up when I will be wearing one on a daily basis. I can't advertise it as I will be raising for charity and its against the rules. I think you can pm me for details if interested, I will be advised on whether that is ok.

As one of the two kilties in my town I feel as though I have to represent. I have recently acquired a box pleat philabeg in a toned down non-clan tartan. I feel that it looks modern enough to be passible for non-historical use. I have taken to using it a bit more dressed up with a waist coat and straight tie. I have also been known to wear my blue and black great kilt on a casual and semi-formal basis as well as for reenactments where I portray a dye merchant (it's a deep blue which was a nice way to show off back in the day). My lighter breacan-an-feile in a more historically correct tartan is used almost exclusivly for reenactment. So I wear a kilt of some variety at least a few times a month.

The largest group "a couple times a week" sounds a lot like the weekenders who would wear the kilt much more often if it fit in at work.
Many, myself included until I retired, are a bit shy of ruffling feathers at work where income and promotions can be decided on sometimes irrelevant issues.

Though I chose every day I have to say there should be a choice of most every day which would be a bit more than a couple times a week. For the days I dont wear a kilt, which are around 7-8 days a month its the jeans. Reason being is Im on call for the hospital I work at and jeans are a bit quicker to pull on in the wee hours of the morning. Come warmer days of spring the jeans will be replaced by my Elkommando Kilt because they are even easier. This winter I opted a couple of days to not kilt up due to heavy winds and blustery wetness. Those days had me in my kilt hose or hunting socks and breeks or East German military knickers. One day Ill post a work photo showing the lead kilt and waistcoat I wear daily at work which fits into the thread about wearing a kilt at work. Though not pleated it is a left over right kilt above the knee and a vest/waistcoat. It just all weighs in at 25lbs.

Most weekends I'm throwing on one of my kilts, and from time to time after work when I get home to relax. I'd pry wear them more often if I had more of the heavier weight. But I make due with my thrifty and got-kilt hybrid.

Monthly would be best answer. During the summer months it can be weekly, and in the winter not unless there is a band engagement. So for me there is no one correct answer.

The only time I won't be wearing a kilt is crawling under my house. The vertical clearance is about one and a half feet and there are places you have to crawl backwards for some distance. I have Utilikilts just for the rest of the messy work.
