Heh! I've tried the veggie route a couple of times. I get surly. Seriously. I fare far better on a modified lo-carb regimen, lots of good, fairly fresh, local meat bolstered with fresh salads, carefully selected veggies and some very creative cooking.
Em has discovered a couple of very tasty recipes for lo-carb tortillas and pizza crust, too ...
As for the walking, that's a given here. We're on the trail a couple times a week at least, and there are some lovely trails in the Bavarian woods.
I've checked with a few local seamstresses about reducing the kilt, but so far they've all just shaken their heads and refused to even try.
Sigh.
I guess I need to start planning that trip to Scotland, but it has to wait until after I take Em to Ireland for her birthday in June.

Chuck, stop in Scotland on the way to Ireland. It's right on the way.

Heh! If I were driving, I would, but getting the pilot to stop for a tick in Glasgow might be problemmatic.
