Boy, what a lucky bunch you folks are. I keep searching for info about St. Andrew's Day events in the Albany NY area, but keep coming up with nothing. If nothing else, I can spend the day around the house kilted! I'll be thinking of you folks, and all the rest of the Scots spread far and wide.
Enjoy.

Wait a minute here... "no charge" as in a free meal? Inconceivable! Maybe it's just no cover charge? Their Robbie Burns 3 course dinner is $45, including a whisky tasting
I have couple friends who are interested in joining, but I wasn't sure on the price.

You have to be right. It makes no sense. I just called the pub and asked for clarification. The gent said that the regular menu is available as well as the fixed menu, but he didn't know the exact price for the fixed menu. He said he'd call me back with the information.

By golly, we got invited to a St. Andrew's Nicht dinner here in Albany for Monday night. I believe it's a St. Andrew's Society function, as my invitation came from a Society member. Dinner is being held at the Fort Orange Club in Albany. Dinner is a bit over twice what you rabble are paying, but I put the check in the mail this a.m.
It's good to have friends!
Cheers!
