    Thank you and thanks to all that have replied. It has led to a lot of great teaching moments; on fashion, history, other cultures, and Scotland.

    Additionally, although this is not in the advice section, I am open to constructive criticism as I am truly hoping to wear highland attire on a more frequent basis.

    Finally, I received a package in the mail last night from Perthshire!! It was the vintage tweed Argyll jacket! It is nearly pristine and fits fabulously! I am very excited and will be wearing it tomorrow night for Burns!

    What a great serial - I'm almost sorry Burns Night is here!

    Well done to you, Sir, your students are very lucky. And it's great that you used different styles of kilt wear to show that there is more to the kilt than the "hire shop wedding kiltie" look, though, of course, that has its place.
