as I recall, there's currently no-one on the throne of scotland anyway{I'm a Scott and won't have no English tart telling me how to cover me bits}...so untill there's a Bruce,a MacAlpine, or a MacDonald sitting up in Edinburgh...the whole theory's sort of moot isn't it?

    Rules About the Age-Old Question

Snow Dog, as a Scot and a highlander at that, I have scant regard for the line of succession to the British throne which began with William of Orange and the Hanoverians, but strictly-speaking Betty Windsor is of 50% Scottish blood, as her mother, Elizabeth of Glamis was from an ancient Scots family.

Perhaps it's a good thing I'm not Scottish, so I won't be tempted to feel a bit guilty about improper kilt-wearing procedures. I'm assuming that president Bush enforces no tradition pertaining to kilts, and even if he did, I still probably wouldn't care.

The RULE should be " Your a big girl, we need the seat up, you need the seat down. If it's up you put it down, if its down we put it up. Enough already!"
