Heavy weight Isle of Mull isn't commercially woven. It can be custom woven, but it is a copyrighted tartan. The owner of the copyright is more than willing, however, to be asked for permission to authorize a custom weave, and the compensation she asks is very reasonable. I have her contact information, if you want to PM me.

I know the STA listing says it is available for sale in the Natural History Museum, so I'll take a look. I would have to look through old correspondence for certainty but I was pretty certain the previous reseller was no longer in business.

We are starting Day 3 of Kilt Kamp 2014. However, a few photos from last night, which was the showing of The Princess Bride, complete with pizza, soft drinks, and (gasp) Wee Beastie Scotch Ale by the Howe Sound Brewery in Squamish (small plug for that microbrewery).
See, it is not all work at Kilt Kamp!
Barb and her Rodent of Unusual Size!
And the Rodent attacking Okiwen (who put up a brave fight)! Please notice that the Rodent is sporting a kilt. I wish I could provide sound effects.
Somewhere I have a photo of at least one Kilt Kamp participant draped exhausted over a kilt.....I'll post if I can find.

Kampers are hard at work!
Okay, I could not resist this -- the pin cushion was coordinated in colour to the tartan!
Doing the steeking line on a contemporary kilt! It is, reportedly, stressful!
And the tartan tights have transferred ownership! Can you guess who's legs? One Kamper's comment was her eyes would now need to be bleached.

The kilt tartan and pin give it away.
Definitely can't be accused of being matchy-matchy!

Continuation of Day 3....people are starting to get the giggles.
Steve has expanded on the "pushed-down-treatment" with hose, setting a new visual standard. Since the kilt shop is actually open today, an occasional customer has stopped by. One gentleman asked if we sold the tartan tights!
In the Contemporary Shop, there are pleats, steeking lines and pockets!
Over in Traditional, HHastings has cut away the back of his kilt.

Taylor Tartan[/QUOTE]
Am loving the Taylor Ancient for some reason. It's not that common but makes a lovely pastel kilt.
