Think it'd look great with saffron kilt. Just don't know how often would be able to wear it other than a lot in March.

I'd dearly love to have one to go with my saffron kilt, but I can't afford one. Did an Irish wedding once where the groomsmen were in green waistcoats & ties; I'm on the lookout for such a rig.
I go black tie quite often, and I'd get a lot of use out of a green Brian Boru. I've been thinking of getting a green Eton, and adding Waterbury "Erin Go Braugh" buttons;
