Wow, you certainly add some colour to the landscape!!

Not quite as colourful as Hamish's rainbow kilt, but getting there.

You're a brave man! I love the colours!!

Hopefully the next ones will be the UK carmel Workman's and the UK Blue Denim kilts I paid for on October 4th....

Also have a Macdonald Lord of the Isles Tank in the works with Kathy's Kilts.

But I've noticed on this one that the Royal Blue and red look like Marine dress pants. So why not a Royal Blue kilt with only two red pleats where the stripes would be on Marine Dress Pants, then the Leatherneck Tartan for all the other underpleats??

Sort of a combination plain/tartan kilt.

I have a swatch of Leatherneck tartan that I've held in place but its too small to get the full effect.

Main worry is that the tartan pattern wouldn't show well peeking out from the underpleats and that the fabrics would be too different to launder together...

Also thought about the local high school colors - Black with red pleats...or my old alma mater Oregon State University's colors...black and orange...but live down in Arizona so don't think anyone would get that.

My mind continues to simmer with ideas....but my plastic is smoked for a while...

Kilted Contact - Positive Beyond All Expectations

Monday I was out at Horseshoe Bend Overlook on the Colorado River near Page, AZ...my little rural burg.

I hiked out wearing my brand new Pittsburgh Kilt tri-color done in Arizona State Flag gear.

Two guys with fancy camera gear ASK if they can take my picture to add perspective to their shots. Then one says, "That must be an Arizona kilt." Cool.

They tell me they'll email me copies...and they do...only huge detailed stuff. I thanked them but told them I couldn't post such huge shots to the board. So they reduced them for me...(I tired with no success).

So, thanks to two nice guys, one from LA and one from Dallas, you can see the magic Jeff created for me. Posted the pics both to my personal gallery and on the PK gallery on this board.

    Feast your eyes..and enjoy.

    Wow nice.

You can take the original hi-res files, upload them to shutterfly.com, and get some gorgeous prints made suitable for framing.
