Glad to hear that you are "still here!" regardless of how chipper you are feeling. Antagonize the sisters (nurses) a bit and you'll start to feel a little better - and don't ease up on the doctor any either.

Jock, I had just poured you a wee dram of Talisker this evening but the Dr told me you couldn't have it. So I just had to drink it for you. We'll just have to have one when the Dr isn't looking.

Maybe we should all mail a spoon to Jock so he can dig himself out of his cell... I mean, room. 
I hope you recover soon, and that your new choppers will serve you well. One of my uncles knew a man who was in an outhouse and leaned the wrong direction and his teeth slipped and... you can imagine the rest. After washing them off and scrubbing them with bleach, the man said they worked just as well as before they took that fast downward trip into the abyss.
