Wait, are you insinuating the classified documents that came into my possession are in fact in error? Please illuminate us on the real events.

    Jolly good show, Rob.

Jock, I have the new bottle of Talisker sitting here waiting. It is still sealed and will be until you arrive.

Thanks Rob, well done and thank you chaps for "getting me out"! I really can not think of a better chap to take my place than Grant. I am sure he understands that in my weakened, shocked, and general confused state, I could not make it clear that in the circumstanes I ought to remain. Do you think he will understand that , in time? Well, OK, er, maybe a very long time!

Did Mr. Livingston mention Talisker? Cheers GRANT!

I see that large bribe, er, I mean incentive payment, I arranged from an "anonymous" source managed to get to the rescue team.

Sadly Dave the records show that the payment was intercepted by warlords yet out of a sense of duty, nay, moral fortitude! The men on the rescue team did what they felt was the right course of action in order to fulfill their mission.

Yes I am still here! Same old view, same patient, same nurses, same doctors BUT, I repeat, BUT, Jock is feeling much better! Not much pain and feeling rather less frail than of late. Learning to drive my new dentures, top and bottom, is a bit of a trial, but on the whole things are looking up.I am having lots of physio and I have made it a point of honour to walk out of this place unaided ,when the time comes. None of those wheel chair things for me, thank you very much! Might not be able to do a sprint(I wish!) mind you, but a gentle plod with a few surreptitious stops for a breather might just be in order! You chaps are great!

That's some better news, Jock, particularly getting your strength back at last. Sorry to hear you have to get used to a set of "wallies" though. My Dad always said food never tasted as good after he got his. Always enjoyed a good curry, mind you, so it mustn't have been all that bad!
(Sorry I should explain - wallies are Glaswegian for dentures. They really refer to the white tiles found in tenements there which they resemble.)

    So how's the food?

    Jock,

In the hospital's in the states they tend to serve a bland comfort style food. Things like meatloaf, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, rubber chicken, rice pilaf, etc.

What are they serving you, besides soft jello and puddings?
