Yes, that could make the Jewdha's tie dye look rather tame.

For us Texans, how about a full-face longhorn steer sporran? 8)

There would be some logistical problems that would be more than difficult to overcome with that.
Besides, some of us are Aggies. Nothing like Old Sarge on a sporran. ;-)

Haha, that's great. When I moved to New Mexico we were driving up the mountain for the first time and this white cadillac convertable passes us .It had a pair of longhorn horns on the hood and the driver was a BIG guy in a white suit and cowboy hat with a cigar in his mouth. I swear he looked just like Boss Hogg. As he passed we saw his licence plates were from Texas. Talk about a stereotype first impression!

Should I find one, I'll endeavour to get a photo...

AA,
I was given one of these Santa Scottsmen just last week. It's about 14 inches tall with a toy bag and bagpipes and wearing a Royal Stewart kilt. It's not a very good kilt but it's certainly red and green.

After looking for the "perfect" Christmas tartan, I've come to the conclusion that it should be Scott.
The Red Scott tartan is predominantly red and green, with small white and black stripes, and the badge is a stag. And their motto is Amo - "I love". How perfect is that.

As far as a "perfect" Christmas Tartan, have you looked at the Livingston Tartan? It doesn't have the white but sure does come out great with the red and green, and minor black stripes.
