    What a great offer Steve

Great vacation spot, kilt making - what a vacation it would be. Well maybe a bit of Jarhead tartan to sew up.

With the gathering in Scotland in the works and the frequent events in Vancouver travel to join in the kilted festivities all over the world seems like a great idea.

How about a dedicated kilt credit card that gives airline miles as a premium for every purchase? Every time one of us drops some money on gear it would allow us to bank miles to be used to attend some of these kilt-fests.

That sounds really cool. Gotta any pics of this posted here? If not, will you?

I have always wanted to work with molten glass. Sculpting was my favorite thing I studied in my art training, and I always loved materials that could give one very organic shapes. That would be a great perk to the Kilt Kamp.

It sounds like a great idea. I hope it comes to fruition.
The igloos have long melted by than and the polar bears have gone back up north for the summer by than. Hopefully by July we can even put the snow shoes away!

Summer in Victoria is actually probably the nicest in Canada. It is not to hot (Vancouver in July is usually low 30's C ) nor is it too cold. Victoria is usually really moderator and beautiful. Personnaly I will take the summer up here rather than the heat of Texas.

That's what I meant. Opening the door in summer is like opening up a blast furnace.

I have a sneaking suspicion that we're on to something, here.

I've got so many items that I've made that I need to photograph to put up on my website that it isn't even funny. I need more hours in the day.

And a kilted summer camp somewhere cooler than DC sounds so nice right about now.

It's for that same reason that I always shop for my kilts and accessories (amongst other purchases) with my NatWest Bank MasterCard - it gives me AirMiles. My Tesco ClubCard also gives AirMiles when used in their Supermarkets and Petrol Stations. All my flights to Edinburgh in the past four years have been covered by AirMiles ............... allowing me to spend more on kilts thereby earning more AirMiles................ and so on and so forth!
