Wow! I usually don't like the look of kilts pleated to the stripe, but that's one I would wear in a heartbeat.

Hamish, you always look great in whatever kilt you're wearing, but that one is really outstanding!

At first I thought it was pleated to the stripe as well, but after looking at it again I think it is actually pleated to the sett. I think it is the tartan that has produced such an interesting effect.

    Which is it Ham?

    Thumbs up

I think all adjectives have been used up so I'll just say very very nice. I cannot wait for the next run of the cloth; I REALLY like the way that tartan turns out in a kilt.

Are Ron and Ham the only ones who's Xmarks kilt is actually made at this point?

P.S. I like the Freelander too.

Well, I looked at all the pleating to the stripe possibilities. I should have liked to have had it to the yellow but that was not 'strong' enough to carry it off. The alternative was to the white, but that proved to be too strong, so I opted for pleating to the sett, which is what you see and what I am now so pleased I chose.

But, hey! You interrupted me counting my accessories for that other thread! Now, where was I? Oh, yes. Hose: Charcoal: 3, Maroon: 2, Khaki/Moss: 7, Oatmeal/Stone: 14, Lovat Blue: 2, Lovat Green: ..............
