The first kilt was a joint operation between my mom and I...I did the pleating, measuring, cutting; my mom sewed the pleats down. My second was me, I did everything, but I couldnt figure how to hide the lining stitches, so I had a bit a help...My next I am planning on getting 16oz tartan and I will hand sew it and do the pleating too (the sewing machine broke down!)
89.3 The Current is a public radio station in Minneapolis, MN, USA. They dont have a set style like many stations and they tend to play wat listners want, which can be anything! If I recall correctly, they had an average playlist per month of 15,000 songs and the average Minneapolis station has 50 songs; they're about variety, local music, world music, hip hop, rap, indie, reggeae, classical, jazz, blues, instramental, house, new age, punk...they play everything. Check it out, you can do audio streaming over the internet:

I also love NPR and MPR for news etc. (NPR= National Public Radio, MPR= Minnesota Public Radio)

I have a number of old Pearson recurves, but my daily shooter is a 62" Martin Hunter recurve, 50#. I support my habit by making custom arrows, strings, and pocket quivers. If you guys need a Flemish dacron string, let me know. I work cheap for friends.

Tartan Hiker
along with my long bow I also have a old 55# Herters recurve that could use a new string do you make arrows with tapered shafts?

Yes, I only use tapered cedar from Rogue River. They are a bit more expensive than the usual Rose City cedar shafts, but they are nothing but top quality. I can also get hickory and ash and taper them myself if you are looking for a more massive hunting shaft.
I just finished rehabilitating an old Herter's for one of my students. They are great bows.

My wife regularly tells me that I act like I'm 15. Does that count??

A big welcome from over ND way! As someone has mentioned you're right near Stillwater Kilts and Jerry has some fine products available.
