Looks like great work to me. As Hamish said, some of the color combinations aren't to my personal taste, but the craftsmanship looks good.

Good luck over in the Sandbox. Watch your back, and your buddies.

Thank you all again for thde compliments. It is only strap and buckle closure on the olive drab kilt. The others are all velcro. I wanted the olive drab one to represent the look of the old army. Almost as if it were made from an old tent. It took me awhile to find similar leather to what is on the tents to make the straps from.

And with this, you move beyond mere tailoring into the realm of art.

    Fantastic.

A grand welcome from the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of VA

Your kilts look amazing!!!! They are truly works of art. I love the offset colors in the pleats!

My prayers go to you as you serve our country in Iraq. Those who serve have my greatest admiration.

They're growing on me too. I need to go find PBK's site to see how to do that multicolor routine. O'Neille

I was thinking, after reading your post, This style may not exactly appeal to the steadfast traditionalists, but I can see where it could have a lot of appeal to the younger folks. These designs sure make a statement!

Well I just picked up two new bolts of cloth for a few more kilts of different styles. I have one planed that will push the limits of even what I have already done so I hope to have it finished before my redeployment so I can wear it at least once and let you guys get a look at it.

I heard about your unit on the radio this morning. Thank you for what you you do for our country. The bi-color kilts are box pleats aren't they? Your pictures looked like it. I can't remember if Jeff's kilts like that were box pleats or not.
Best of luck to you. Will you be taking your kilts with you?
