Thanks everyone for your comments and even compliments. I was particularly interested to see what your reactions were going to be, since this one IS rather different.

No, I fear "pulling" is but a very distant memory now - in fact, I don't think I remember how it's done, it was so long ago!
les calls his snake skin jacket, his pulling jacket.it's a nasty plastic snake skin jacket, and yes, no one but les battersby would wear one.
your kilt looks good, and is a very interesting concept.
please keep on posting about all your kilts, I find it very interesting.
we live vicariously through you, I only wish I could afford 1/2 the kilts you own. remember different is good

Photo #2 clearly shows that a kilt without a sporran is still a kilt!

Very classy kilt modelled by a classy guy!

hmm...that might actually do well..but here is a questions...exactly what kind of fur sporran do you wear to a formal event with a snakeskin kilt? gecko-skin, maybe?

    Talking GREEEN with Envy

Just plain jealous of your kilts!!!!

I'm going to have to go catch and Alligator, skin it, tan and salt the hide. Polish the leather....and find someone to make a kilt out of it!!!!

Even after all that work, I'll still be 63 kilts behind you!

    Darn my luck!

Oh well, GREAT looking kilt....would go well with anything.

    Nice job there Hamish!
